HISTORY
A-CAP Development Limited was an Australian listed speculative development and later resource-exploration company. This 1970 Sydney Register option certificate shows it was incorporated in Canberra under the Companies Ordinance 1954 with a large authorised capital, as part of the wave of small public companies raising capital through shares and options during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Later public records link A-CAP Development Ltd to mining and exploration licence activity in Western Australia, indicating the company shifted or developed into a junior exploration play rather than a broad industrial business. It was eventually delisted from the Australian market on 3 October 1990 and later deregistered, which fits the pattern of many small speculative Australian companies of that era that raised capital, pursued exploration or development opportunities, and then disappeared from the market.
