Beneficial Finance Corporation Limited was an Australian finance company incorporated in New South Wales in 1960. In the 1980s it expanded well beyond traditional consumer lending into much riskier property and corporate finance, and this aggressive growth later made it one of the central causes of the State Bank collapse of the early 1990s.
