HISTORY
Federated Industries Limited was an Australian electrical and mechanical engineering company that grew out of a 1956 merger between Federated British Engineers (N.S.W.) Ltd and Electrical Control & Engineering Ltd, forming Federated Engineering Industries Limited. It later shortened its name to Federated Industries Limited in 1972. Historically it is best seen as a mid-century Australian engineering and industrial company that later ran into financial difficulty, which fits the “Receiver Appointed” marking on the certificate.
