HISTORY
Riverina & North East Victoria TV Limited was the merged company behind the regional stations RVN-2 Wagga Wagga and AMV-4 Albury, which combined in 1971 to serve the Riverina and north-east Victoria as RVN-AMV. Both stations had begun broadcasting in 1964, and the merged business became one of the key regional television operators in southern New South Wales and northern Victoria. In the mid-1980s the company moved into the Prime era after Paul Ramsay gained control, and the RVN-AMV operation later became part of the broader Prime Television network. This 1977 certificate sits in that pre-Prime but mature merged-broadcaster phase.
