HISTORY
Viscount Holdings Limited was an Australian listed holding and investment company based in Albury, New South Wales, and by the late 1970s it was notable enough to be described in The Bulletin as the only public listed company with its registered office in the Albury-Wodonga growth centre. Newspaper market reports also show it was active and profitable in the late 1960s, with one 1969 report noting that it had doubled profit and increased its interim dividend for the third year in a row. The company remained on the ASX for some years afterward, but later delisted in 1990 for failure to pay annual listing fees, suggesting it faded rather than being taken over in a major merger.
